Updates:

The navigation panels are no longer identical, the right-hand panel has been redesigned to allow control over the spaceship's lighting, enabling you to adjust the intensity or even turn the lights off completely.

An "ENGINE (number x) ON FIRE" event has been added. following a collision, this can trigger a fire in the affected area (though this feature is still under development).

Doors now open when you approach them, rather than simply allowing you to walk through them.
